Road Hoppers (In-ground)
Use
KE’s in-ground road hoppers provide safe, convenient and fast unloading of road transport vehicles tipping products at road level.
We will design, manufacture and install a road hopper to interface with your existing material handling system, or design a complete system to meet your specification.
Options
Hoppers can be designed with large holding capacity of up to 50 tonnes if required.
KE’s material handling expertise allows us to design hoppers which can be emptied using screw conveyors, drag chain conveyors or conventional belt conveyors.
Slide gate flow valves are standard although open hopper feed design directly onto a fixed conveyor belt with VF drives can be provided where valves are not preferred.
Standard manufacture uses steel materials with all models featuring manual or electric winch operated cover options.
